LOVE hangOVER Ball at the W Hotel

I’m beyond excited to tell you that I’ll be covering the LOVE hangOVER Voguing Ball hosted by the lovely Kelly Osbourne! The Ball is in support of the American Foundation of Aids Research (amfAR) and will take place this Wednesday at the famous W Hotel in New York. Other notable guests will include Bryan Boy, Jessica Stam, Lily Donaldson, Mickey Boardman, Simon Doonan and many more!

As of now I have no idea what I’m going to wear. I’m thinking a gown or fancy dress would be the proper attire so I’m praying I find something in the next 24 hours. I feel every bit like Cinderella at the moment because I seriously need a beautiful dress to go to the Ball!

If you’re interested attending you can purchase tickets at the Insider in the W Union Square by the concierge desk. You must say ‘I have the sweetest hangover I don’t wanna get over’. It’s $100 per ticket and a maximum of four tickets per person. ALL ticket proceeds will be donated to amfAR.

GEORG JENSEN Fusion Collection Event + Exclusive Interview With Avril Graham From Harper's Bazaar

I attended the Georg Jensen Fusion Showpiece Collection event with Avril Graham, Harper's BAZAAR Executive Fashion & Beauty Editor. The event was held at the Georg Jensen boutique located right on Madison Ave in NYC’s famous Upper East Side.

I’m a big fan of Georg Jensen jewelry and was really excited to meet Fashion Editor and icon Avril Graham. I was all ready to go when the promised Nor'easter hit NYC in full force of snow. While most people were running home I decided that this event was not something I could possibly miss.

New Year’s #1 Trend: Sparkly Sequin Dresses

Click: ASOS SEQUIN DRESS WITH KNOT TWIST
New Year's is a few weeks away but I've already started to plan what I'm going to wear. It's been a tradition of mine to always wear a sparkling sequin dress to ring in the New Year. It's probably the most cliché option but I can't image wearing anything else for this special occasion. There is something about sequins that makes me imagine a new year full of glamour and happiness. I love pairing my sequin dresses with either heels or boots depending on the cut of the dress. If you also enjoy a good sparkle for the New Year then check out these fabulous dresses I picked out!

My Interview Feature On Why Blue Matters

I had the incredible honor of being interviewed by PR Maven Jordana Hazan for her column called Untapped Style on Why Blue Matters. This was honestly one of the most fun press interviews I've ever done. I talk a lot about how I became a Fashion Blogger and much much more. Click here to see my interview!

Holiday Flower Halos by That Madonna Girl

I’m completely in love with That Madonna Girl flower halos as you could probably tell from an earlier post about my flower child experience with TMG during New York Fashion Week.

Now, I'm excited to tell you That Madonna Girl just created a special Holiday collection of gorgeous Metallic rose halos. If you're looking to be the center of attention at your upcoming Holiday party or New Year's bash then I highly recommend wearing one of these. There are three in total and you can choose from gold, silver and two-tone.

My personal favorite is the below gold Metallic rose halo. I could definitely see myself wearing it with my sparkly gold sequin dress for New Year's!

Avon, Mark, and Silpada Holiday Collection Preview

On Wednesday I visited the AVON offices to preview their new Holiday collection as well as collections from mark. and Silpada. The whole room was decorated in a Winter Wonderland theme which ironically matched the snowy NYC weather outside. The inside version was of course much more glamorous!

Lands' End Spring/Summer 2013 Preview

I was invited to preview the new Lands' End Spring/Summer 2013 collection at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York. The popular All-American brand featured a lot of my favorite trends for Spring 2013 like bright colors, stripes, patterns and polka dots. There was also a big emphasis on functionality and fit.

Efva Attling's Inspirational New Jewelry Collection + Exclusive Interview

Efva Attling and me

I had the incredible pleasure of meeting famous jewelry designer Efva Attling and seeing her new collection.

Efva is unlike any other jewelry designer I've ever met. In person she’s full of so much warmth, character and strength. She infuses these characteristics into her jewelry by adding meaningful messages which she calls “beauty with a thought.”

Her new collection includes a selection of unique jewelry with powerful messages. Efva worked with photographer Mattias Edwalls to capture images of people that reflect the meaning of select pieces.

K-Fashion Sensation Presentation and Party Hosted by Patricia Field

Patricia Field and me at the K-Fashion Sensation Presentation

The K-Fashion Sensation presentation and party was one of the most fun events that I've been lucky to attend so far. It was held at the fabulous Dream Downtown hotel in New York.

Legendary stylist and fashion icon Patricia Field styled the presentation and also hosted the event. Morine Comte Marant and Buckaroo Jeans were the two featured Korean brands. The presentation's theme was “Good Girls Love Bad Boys” and was meant to contrast Morine Comte Marant’s flirty, feminine style against Buckaroo Jean’s tough, masculine image.
