Sneak Peak Of Zac Posen's Pre-Fall 2013 Collection

There is something so profoundly romantic and brilliant about Zac Posen’s designs. I was just emailed these gorgeous shots of his Pre-Fall 2013 collection. All of the images are courtesy of the designer.

I’ve always been such a huge fan of Zac Posen’s work. Ironically, I sat just a few rows back of him at the LOVE Hangover Ball a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to meet him that night but I’m hopeful that I’ll have the honor of meeting him one day!

In the meantime I hope you enjoy these gorgeous Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2013 looks. There's such a huge architectural influence in these pieces that reminds me of carefully crafted origami.

Small Holiday Fashion Gifts (That Make a Big Impression)

The Holidays are fast-approaching which means the time for buying presents is too. Getting the perfect Holiday present is never easy, especially if you want to get your friends or family something fashionable. Buying the right shoes or the perfect dress can be tricky as you need to have a pretty good idea of their size and tastes - and if you don't know the person you're buying for that well then this can be hard!
That's why it might be a good idea to get something a little smaller, but no less special for the Holidays. Accessories like scarves, handbags and jewelry still require a bit of thought but don't come with the same problems and they can be a lot more affordable. Here are a few accessories that would make for great presents for the Holidays or an even better way to treat yourself!

Josie and the Dragon Book Launch Party

Photo credit: Josh Wong from Guest of a Guest
Last week I attended fashion designer Josie Natori’s launch party for her new book Josie and the Dragon. The book is about her fairy-tale fashion story on how she started her company. It will launch in the Year of the Dragon to celebrate The Natori Company’s 35th anniversary.

This was a very special event for me as I was lucky to be dressed by the Natori PR team the morning before the party. Can you say dream come true?!

Paola Quadretti Spring/Summer 2013 Preview

I had the unique opportunity of visiting luxury Italian Designer Paola Quadretti’s townhouse to preview her fabulous new Spring/Summer 2013 collection. It was quite an exciting experience stopping by her townhouse which is located right on Park Avenue in the Upper East Side section of New York.

The moment I walked inside her room in the townhouse I felt as though I was transported into a palazzo in Italy. There was a beautiful golden mirror perched on top of a fireplace right in the middle of the room. This luxuriously cozy setting serves as a by-appointment-only salon for her NYC clients.

Paola's Spring 2013 collection had a gorgeous selection of delicately made dresses, jumpers, jackets and separates. Exotic jungle prints were a big part of this collection but it also included a selection of classic solid colors.

Doncaster Spring/Summer 2013 Preview

I had a chance to visit Doncaster's showroom to preview their new Spring/Summer 2013 collection. It featured a lot of my favorite Spring trends like animal prints, stripes and of course floral!

Doncaster is most known for their classically tailored ensembles that were clearly presented in this collection.

Yoana Baraschi Spring/Summer 2013 Preview

I stopped by Yoana Baraschi's showroom to preview her latest collection for Spring/Summer 2013. Yoana is one of my favorite designers and each season she delivers such exquisite looks. I couldn't find a more appropriate outfit to wear then my Yoana Baraschi print high-low dress which I was lucky to receive courtesy of her team.

For Spring 2013 Yoana masterfully shows her strength in embroidery and print design. There is a delicious assortment of bright colors, lace, exotic animal and floral prints, ombre design as well as dainty tweed.
