Coach Fall 2013 Preview at their Glamorous Headquarters in New York

The Coach headquarters in New York was one of the most glamorous and enchanting places that I've ever had a chance to visit. Coach invited me to see their fabulous new Fall 2013 collection during a special editor’s preview. It was such a fairy tale experience to walk around their showroom which was decorated in the classic Coach aesthetic. The new Fall 2013 collection featured a selection of luxurious bags, shoes, jewelry, hats, scarves, gloves, sunglasses and more!

HUGO BOSS invited me to see their new Fall 2013 collection at their breathtaking showroom in New York. The press visit was scheduled by appointment only which made the experience that much more special.

I was shown their new Fall 2013 women’s BOSS, HUGO and BOSS ORANGE collections. It was so much fun going through each rack to pick out my favorite pieces. In between shots I couldn't resist trying on some of their lovely coats like the above BOSS petticoat. 

Each collection was magnificent and had so much intricate design and meaning behind it.

Dooney & Bourke Spring/Summer 2013 Press Preview

I was invited to see the new Spring/Summer 2013 Dooney & Bourke collection during a special editor's preview in New York. I’m personally a big fan of the brand so it was quite exciting to have a chance to preview their new line of luxury handbags and accessories. 

Dooney & Bourke is best known for their strong aesthetic and exceptional value of quality. Their Spring/Summer 2013 collection had a plethora of vibrant colors and themes to choose from. I couldn't resist trying on their beautiful pink Medium Russel Bag with a magnetic snap closure. I loved the bright rosy color and how spacious the bag was inside.

As I made my way around the room it felt like I was walking through a garden of colorful, exotic handbags which were in full bloom. I wanted to literally pick each one and take it home! 

The Martin Project’s Fashionably Organizational Collection For QVC Preview at the Soho House

Jill Martin held a private launch event at the Soho House in New York to celebrate her new collection of fashionably organizational products called The Martin Project. 

The line was created just for QVC and is meant to help women stay organized in a stylish way. 

Jill is also a famous New York Times best-selling author, Emmy Award-winning television personality and fashion expert. 

Ocean Minded New York Yoga Studio Pop-Up Event

dOMAIN NY SHOWROOM invited me to their special Ocean Minded New York Yoga pop-up event.

Guests were treated to a complimentary Indo Board yoga class, manicures, pedicures, healthy snacks and great gifts.

The added bonus to the event were the breathtaking views of the Hudson River which provided the most serene atmosphere for the yoga class.

World Fashion Forum at the United Nations

International Women’s Day was certainly a day to remember for me this year. I had the honor of being invited to attend the World Fashion Forum at the United Nations. The World Fashion Forum aims to identify how the Fashion Industry’s economic, social and cultural powers can be best positioned, focused and managed to alleviate the world’s most critical needs. Their goal is to instigate communication and mutual collaboration between the leaders of the Fashion Industry and the United Nations so that Fashion’s resources and humanitarian efforts can be optimized and better directed to make a positive and sustainable change in the lives of those most in need. 

Celebrating H&M’s New “Denim Days” Campaign With The Carrie Diaries Star, AnnaSophia Robb

AnnaSophia Robb from CW’s new hit show, The Carrie Diaries hosted a fun in-store denim event at H&M in New York City. I was invited to meet AnnaSophia and celebrate the launch of H&M’s new “Denim Days” campaign which features all of their popular styles. From denim classics—low-rise, slim fit, and boot cut—plus new designs with an edge, like light and dark washes, boyfriend and distressed.

Macy’s Exclusive Marilyn Monroe Collection Preview Party

Macy’s unveiled their glamorous new Marilyn Monroe collection at a themed bash inside the Tribeca Cinemas in New York. The collection, created by LF USA and Authentic Brands Group, infused the actress’s iconic personality and retro styling into flirty and fun garments for the modern day fashion-forward girl. All of the pieces were inspired by the starlet’s legendary style and are currently available in 150 Macy’s stores and online at macys.com.

Preview of AUGUST FIELD Fall/Winter 2013 + Exclusive Interview With Designer Adrien Field

Designer Adrien Field held a private presentation of his AUGUST FIELD Fall/Winter 2013 collection titled ‘Maharaja’s dream’ at the Gansevoort Hotel Rooftop. 

The new AUGUST FIELD collection is one that needs be felt and experienced as much as it is to be seen. Combining rich Eastern fabrics such as silk brocade, microfiber velvet and satin with classic Western tailoring, the line envelops the wearer in a cocoon of luxury. 

The Gansevoort embodies such a decadent dream like setting which set the perfect tone for Adrien’s luxurious collection.

As expected I arrived to a glamorous event filled with champagne, hors d'oeuvres, fabulously dressed guests and an unbelievable view of the city. 

It truly felt like a dream setting as I spotted designer Adrien Field holding his adorable dog and chatting about his new collection. 

My Brigitte Bardot Makeover at Caravan Stylist Studio

I recently had a Brigitte Bardot makeover at the Caravan Stylist Studio inside the historic Carlton Hotel in New York. It was such a fairy-tale experience to get this glamorous makeover which included a manicure, makeup and hair-styling.

When I arrived at the hotel I was given a special Carlton key card to visit the Caravan Stylist Studio suite. They were originally based in the garment district and recently just re-located to the Carlton Hotel. The Carlton is one of my favorite hotels in New York. It has such a beautiful art-deco style elegance to it.

Paparazzi Moment Outside Lincoln Center During New York Fashion Week

As a Fashion Blogger I've been lucky to experience quite a few dream come true moments. Getting my photo taken outside Lincoln Center by paparazzi during New York Fashion Week was certainly one of them. It’s such an inexplicably euphoric feeling to be surrounded by a group of photographers who are all taking your picture. 

In that moment in time I felt exactly how a celebrity would. Cameras were flashing in all directions as I tried to focus on each individual lens so the photographer could get a good shot. 

It was day 4 of Fashion Week and I was wearing a vintage fascinator, Gabby Applegate Black Tank Blouse w/Leather Collar, Gabby Applegate Silver Leather Skirt and Aldo Neon Pumps.

I was so excited to collaborate with photographer David Geffin on an editorial style photo shoot inside the tents at New York Fashion Week this season. 

It’s always so lovely to work with him. He has such a keen eye for story telling through photos. I had so much fun listening to his directions of where to stand and pose for the perfect shot. 

The theme of my look was “Red & White Russian Royalty” and I was wearing Norma Ishak Red Fur Neck-piece, RUE DE Snow Dress, Vintage leggings and Bakers Spiked Booties.

A representative from TIGI offered me an opportunity to take pictures backstage for their sponsored shows this season at New York Fashion Week.

The shows included Mara Hoffman, Nicholas K, The Blonds, Katie Gallagher and Wildfox. 

Although I would have loved to take pictures myself I knew that they wouldn't have come out as good as a professional photographer’s shots. 

I asked my friend and photographer David Geffin to shoot on my behalf. Luckily, he was available and able to capture all of the beautiful backstage preparations for these shows. 

It’s always a pleasure to work with David. He’s known for capturing such epic moments in time with just the right amount of emotion in each shot.

The Daily Style Sessions at Stone Rose Lounge

The Daily Front Row, a leading Fashion Week glossy once again hosted a luxurious Style Sessions Lounge during New York Fashion Week. The two day event was held at the Stone Rose Lounge inside the Time Warner Center. 

The Daily Style Sessions lounge has always been the perfect place to relax during Fashion Week. Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau even had two massage therapists on hand to give complimentary ten-minute massages to guests.

Celebrities like Carmen Electra, Kelly Rutherford, Tinsley Mortimer, Luann De Lessepes, Kelly Bensimon, Jill Zarin, Ramona Singer, and Brandi Glanville attended along with countless fashion VIPs. This season was extra special because it was also the Daily’s 10th anniversary!

Cindy Ord, a famous photographer and a new friend snapped these lovely photos of me in the front row at b michael AMERICA this season.

It was such a surprise and honor to have these taken by her. Her work has been published in publications and media outlets like People, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, TMZ, OK! Magazine, US Magazine, USA Today, New York Times and many more. 

Seeing a fashion show from the front row is one of the most exhilarating and special experiences. You can literally feel the fabric moving and see every single detail that the designer worked so hard to include like the intricate tailoring in b michael AMERICA's exquisite Fall 2013 gowns. I’ll have more about his collection in an upcoming post.
