Ainsley NY Fall 2012: Free-Spirited Southwest Style

The Ainsley NY 2012 collection was such an interesting presentation to see during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. It was held off location at the Exit Art gallery. The Southwest themed presentation had models sitting, laying, walking on rocks, dancing and even playing the drums to go along with the free-spirited and fun theme of the collection. My favorite look was the above wild horses watercolor printed jumpsuit.
The below press notes description will give you a better idea of the Ainsley NY Fall 2012 collection.

"Chase the shadow through the ethereal Southwest and dance to the fluidity of tribal prints. Peacefulness radiates through blends of cashmere intertwined with shades of lapis. Evoke thoughts of wild mustangs with warm amber silks. The electric sunset is emulated through whip-stitched wools and recycled tweeds of bounce. Cascading silks herald subtle structure as berretta rounds bounce off knife pleated diaphanous silhouettes. Be enveloped in spiritual hues of carnelian, howlite, tigers eye and citrine. Precious natural fibers fused with lurex tape yarns and lightweight mohairs embody the Ainsley NY spirit."
