The Fall 2012 Venexiana fashion show offered one of a
kind glamorous pieces created by its super star designer Kati Stern. Before starting her label in 2003 Kati had worked in music and architecture and you can see how much this influenced her collection. Every single piece was perfectly draped, stitched and adorned with just the right amount of details. Ever since I can remember I have always been invited to her show and each season is better than the next! This season she offered a mix of detailed beading, feathers, lace, velvet, sequin, chiffon and fur. One of my favorite pieces was the above collared feathers and lace gown. It kind of reminds me of a mix between Black Swan meets Queen Elizabeth. In fact each piece in the Venexiana Fall 2012 collection was something out of a royal closet fit for a modern day princess.
