A week before Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week I had absolutely no idea what I was going to wear. I’ve searched the racks high and low at countless stores but nothing really came across as the “it” dress to wear.
Luckily, the wonderful girls at Synderela came to my fashion rescue and let me visit their beautiful showroom in New York to pick out a dress.
It was a very hard decision as their showroom is filled with so many gorgeous pieces.
I ended up borrowing a stunning high slit dress called “SYNsational”. Coral is my favorite color and of course what attracted me the most to this dress was the va-va-voom slit! Ever since Angelina Jolie rocked the slit on the red carpet I’ve kind of been obsessed with long high slit dresses.

The moment I put on the SYNsational dress I was turned into a modern day Synderela and my fairy-tale day at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week began.
During my first day I had a chance to see so many amazing fashion shows like Chadwick Bell, Tadashi Shoji, ARISE and Supima.
After all of the shows I had a little bit of time to explore the tent. Diet Pepsi had a fun photo station where you could take photos with props and accessories. Naturally, I picked out the crown to wear as it was the most befitting accessory to complete my look that day. I felt like a Princess sitting on my Diet Pepsi throne. A girl can dream right?!
Following my mini photo shoot with Diet Pepsi I went to check out the Maybelline station inside the tent. After select shows you had a chance to pick out a sample product. This season I picked the Maybelline "Red Revival" lipstick which is such a staple color for Fall.
My next stop was to check out the beautiful black Mercedes displayed in the tent.
As I was taking photos by the Mercedes I was asked to be an impromptu promotional model for Iland Magazine. Here I am being photographed holding their magazine.
I continued my tour of the tents with more posing and twirling with my fabulous SYNsational dress. There was something so magical about this dress that just made me feel like a Princess.
Thank you so much Synderela for giving me a real life fairy-tale experience during my first day at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
