CCOC Fall Fashion, Fitness and Philanthropy Event

It’s always such a pleasure to support the charitable endeavors of Chabad's Children of Chernobyl (CCOC) as the organization hits very close to home for me. One of their most recent events was the Fall Fashion, Fitness and Philanthropy event at EVR NYC.

Past Children at Heart Auctions have included Whoopi Goldberg, Jon Voight, Kathleen Turner, Burt Reynolds, Pierce Brosnan, Heidi Klum, Robin Williams, Steven Spielberg and many more. And this year's has more of the same excitement and glamour. You can bid on their currently open Celebrity/Fantasy auction items on their website.

Chabad's Children of Chernobyl (CCOC) is the only organization in the world that permanently evacuates and treats children from the devastated region of Chernobyl. To date, CCOC has saved 2,863 children on 99 rescue flights... and counting!

Ariel Penzer  (TwiggyPenz co-owner), me, Mickey Penzer (CCOC New Leadership Award recipient) and Renee Edelstein (TwiggyPenz co-owner)
The event featured www.TwiggyPenz.com, an online fashion boutique dedicated to finding you the newest and latest in fashion.

The TwiggyPenz girls kindly offered to dress me for the event in the Benjamin Ringuet Calypso Fitted Dress. In addition, I was also accessorized in a beautiful beaded headpiece by Ropena El-Haj. Ropena' s tiaras and headpieces are pastiche pieces borne from the iconography of ancient Egyptian princesses and inspired by the 19th Century European fetish for beads, feathers, and flowers.

I felt like a modern day Grecian goddess in my look and it certainly set the precedent for the fabulous time that I had that evening.

Thank you so much to the TwiggyPenz team for making me look so glamorous!
