Lauren Rae Levy and me. (Both dressed in Patrizia Luca for Barami) |
I was thrilled to have a chance to preview Patrizia Luca’s Desk 2 Dinner F/W14 collection for Barami. My friend and Celebrity Stylist Lauren Rae Levy curated select pieces for the preview and extended the invitation for me to attend.
The Patrizia Luca collection for Barami featured a selection of high-end day to night pieces that very much embodied the glamorous European look. Patrizia Luca or P.Luca as it’s known is an extension of the Barami brand.
Headquartered in New York City, Barami’s vision is simple: To provide women with fashionable, affordable, quality clothing that can be worn from day to night. As women become more prominent in the workforce, founder, Bahram Hakakian focuses on providing both value and quality by manufacturing his own designs.
Barami is a lifestyle brand that embodies fashion and versatility. Barami styles are perfect to wear to work and can transition seamlessly to an evening out.
His team includes daughters, Neda and Nika Hakakian who grew up loving fashion and admiring their father’s hands-on approach to womenswear. Neda and Nika developed and launched the high-end Patrizia Luca Milano line as part of the Barami brand. I had the pleasure of meeting the ever so glamorous Neda at the preview that day.

Lauren did a phenomenal job in selecting and styling the Patrizia Luca preview. Each look had a sense of effortless glamour for a seamless transition from desk to dinner wear. I saw Lauren at New York Fashion Week a few months ago so it was nice to have a chance to catch up. Lauren is a powerhouse celebrity stylist and owner of LRL Group, a NY-based full-service fashion group.
I couldn’t resist the opportunity to try on a few of the new Patrizia Luca F/W styles. The first was the above black fur mini coat with green crystal detailed sunnies.
Next, I tried on their fabulous red fur vest. The Russian in me instantly gravitated towards this baby. I paired the look with their stylish retro sunnies. While snapping the picture in the mirror I could just imagine how much the paparazzi would love this look at New York Fashion Week in February. Who can resist some red fur?! ;)
Thanks again Lauren for having me over to see the fabulous new Patrizia Luca desk to dinner collection!
