New York Fashion Week Diary F/W15 Day 2: Wearing Natori

My day two look for New York Fashion Week was all about subtle glamour. I wore a Natori dress, my favorite big sunnies and heels. The outfit was composed of all black and white so I wore red lipstick to bring a pop of color to the look. 

If I could choose only one lipstick color red would definitely be it. There is something so sexy and glamorous about red lipstick and it can easily adorn any outfit. 



I met up with my uber stylish friend Dylan Thai to spend some time before the fashion shows in the tents. We met last season at fashion week and have been friends ever since. He’s always such a fashion plate!

One of my favorite moments was meeting Ty-Ron Mayes, lead stylist and fashion consultant to Tyra Banks. We had lunch together and it was so fascinating to hear his stories of his time on America’s Next Top Model and working with Tyra. It brought back such fond memories of the time her producers chose me to be on her talk show when I was back in college.  

My favorite fashion show of the day was Mark and Estel who literally brought back rock star chic to fashion. Check out my review of their Fall/Winter 2015 collection here.
