The Holidays came a little early for HSN as the iconic
home shopping network hosted its 3rd annual More The Merrier HSNi
Holiday Collection at the Academy Mansion in NYC. In addition to HSN,
other showcasing brands included Frontgate, TravelSmith, Ballard Designs, Garnet
Hill, Grandin Road, Improvements, and Chasing Fireflies.
It was so exciting to have a chance to visit the Academy Mansion on the upper east side to see the new HSN Holiday collection. I’ve been to quite a few in the city, but this is by far my favorite one. I’m a secret history nerd, so in the midst of writing this post I took a quick look at the mansion’s long history.
According to an online source, the mansion was constructed in 1921 by William Ziegler, Jr, an heir to the Royal Baking Powder Company fortune.

Walking into the mansion was quite surreal. HSN and partners did such a phenomenal job in turning the historic space into a Holiday wonderland filled with everything one could possibly want for the Holidays. One of my personal favorites was the above faux fur coat, sequin black dress and matching sparkling accessories.
I continued perusing the new collection and came across these lovely flats! While I’m constantly in heels for events and meetings, in between I always make sure to throw on a pair of flats to give my feet a rest or run faster to my next event. One of my favorites from the collection were the far left monogrammed flats. Can I please have all three colors with my initial on them?!
While walking around the rooms I came across a fairy-tale like open courtyard right in the middle of the mansion. HSN turned the space into an outdoor tiki-like bar so guests could enjoy the Summer weather outside. The interesting part about the courtyard design is that how brilliantly the rooms were designed around it, similar to a Roman villa.
My good friend Michelle Grundman joined me for the holiday night out with HSN. Of course we couldn’t resist doing a fun photo-up in between checking out the new collection and meeting interesting guests!
Speaking of meeting interesting people, I had a chance to meet one of the most successful fashion bloggers in the world, the lovely Tina Craig! Tina launched her blog, Bag Snob back in 2005 and has since created a fashion empire with her work. Tina recently launched a handbag line called Snob Essentials which is currently being sold by HSN. That evening Tina wore the super chic Snob Essentials Jewel Box purse.
Thank you so much HSN for having me and all the Holiday goodies! I had such an incredible time that evening and look forward to seeing all of the beautiful items on the website during the Holiday season!
