NYC’s Pop Princess Carrie Lane celebrated the release of her EP "Bows Before Bros" album release party at Stitch Lounge. It was so much fun to join her fans and attending celebrities at this exclusive red carpet event.
The evening was hosted by Edvin Ortega from Orange is the New Black and Larger than Life.
Bows Before Bros is Carrie Lane's Freshman EP. The EP tells the story of a young girls journey through love, including everything from a first kiss to devastating breakup. The songs were co-written by Lane herself and Ron Geffen, the featured producer on the album. The two work together in order to captivate the essence of teenage love by marrying the theme to catchy melodies and upbeat, feel-good tracks. Lane has set the stage for her musical career to tell her story by relating to her fans and encouraging them to get out there and be themselves.
The lovely Bridget O’Brien from her namesake PR agency invited me to this cool event. Bridget looked absolutely magical in her Sherri Hill dress. We were both matching in our baby doll dress styles that evening.
My good friend Michelle Grundman also came with me. We had such a blast mingling and taking photos on the red carpet.
One of my favorite people to meet at the event was Orange is The New Black star Edvin Ortega. He had such a cool, larger than life personality that made him quite a befitting host for the evening.
Guests enjoyed an array of food catered by Stitch and nibbled on delicious cupcakes from Cupcake Ala Crem'e. I have such a big sweet tooth so I definitely appreciated the yummy dessert selection!
