KeratinPerfect Blogger Bash

Before and After KeratinPerfect Smoothing Treatment 

I attended the KeratinPerfect Blogger Bash at Wonderland Beauty Parlor in NYC a little while ago. Bloggers had the option of choosing either the DIY KeratinPerfect Perfect Blowout or the DIY Keratin Perfect Smoothing Treatment. I decided to go with the smoothing treatment since I was curious to see how it worked. The whole process was a do it your self kind of thing and my stylist guided me through the steps of applying the treatment. 

Here were the steps according to the guide sheet and my stylist:

Step 1: 

Shampoo & Towel-Dry: Massage a quarter sized amount of PerfectPrep Pre-Treatment Clarifying Shampoo throughout wet hair and scalp. Rinse thoroughly.Towel dry hair until damp and gently comb to de-tangle. Shake ThePerfector tube well and pump product into palms or directly onto the hair.

 

Step 2: Separate the hair into sections, leaving one section down at the back of the neck. Twist and secure remaining sections using clips. Starting with the section at the back of the neck, begin applying treatrment directly on the hair. Comb the treatment through each section to evenly distribute. Continue applying the treatment to the entire head combing through the hair for three minutes. Comb away from your face. DO NOT RINSE. Allow treatment to process 10 minutes. 

3. After the 10-minute processing time, blow-dry your hair until completely dry using the brush of your choice. 

4. Divide the hair into sections, leaving one section down at the back of your neck. Flat iron 2 inch sections of hair carefully, keeping the iron in constant motion. 

Finally after about an hour my treatment was complete! My hair felt smooth and looked pin straight from the KeratinPerfect Smoothing Treatment.
