Macy's Fashion Week Lounge at The Empire Hotel

Macy's held a fabulous lounge at the Empire Hotel for the first time during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. I'm a huge fan of Macy's and was beyond excited to attend. Highlights of the lounge included countless designer shoes, a sneak peak at Nicole Richie's new Impulse collection for Macy's, delicious assortment of cheese hors d'oeuvres and champagne.

I had chance to relax on the comfy couches and mingle with the lovely Macy's PR girls. During our conversation I learned that Macy's in NYC's Herald Square will be doing an exciting $400 million dollar renovation. The redesigned iconic store will also welcome luxury brands like Gucci, Burberry and Longchamp this coming Holiday season.

One side of the lounge was sectioned off just for Nicole Richie’s new Impulse Collection for Macy's.  The collection featured limited-edition apparel inspired by Richie’s trendsetting personal style, including 1970s influenced silhouettes and prints.

One of my favorite pieces from Nicole's new collection was the above Short-Sleeve Scoop-Neck Feather-Print A-Line Maxi Dress. The peacock feathers made this dress look so exotic!

Aside from fashion the selection of cheese and fruit hors d'oeuvres was equally impressive!

Here is what I picked from the delicious assortment of cheese. It's so cliche but cheese and champagne is usually all I have during Fashion Week season.

Thank you so much to the Macy's team for inviting me to the lounge. It was definitely one of the highlights of my Fashion Week!
