Hairstyle Tips For the Office Holiday Party

Holiday parties are just around the corner which means you should probably start looking for a fabulous new outfit to impress your co-workers. I personally recommend sticking with seasonal trends like sequins and velvet. Of course an outfit is not complete without the perfect hairstyle to match.
Whether you want to achieve luscious loose curls or a fabulous up-do, there are many styles that will complete your outfit and your overall look.
I recommend following these great Holiday Hairstyle tips courtesy of Hershesons Hair Salon for the ultimate va-va-voom look.
The Beehive

A beehive is an incredibly easy look to achieve and is an effective and stylish look for a Holiday party. This retro classic has been sported by many celebrities on the red carpet such as Charlize Theron and Scarlet Johansson which shows how truly glamorous this style can be!
The main feature of this style is that you can either make it look either polished and glossy or alternatively you can create a messy beehive if you are looking for a more edgy and contemporary look.
To achieve this look, separate your hair into small sections with a comb and begin backcombing the hair so that it can be re-worked into the beehive shape. Start by backcombing the hair at the roots before you then work your way down to the tips of the hair.
This will create height and volume to your beehive and will help to keep it in place. Once your hair is fully volumised, pin your hair in place and decorate with sparkling pins or a pretty headband. Add a touch of hairspray to keep the style in place and use extra pins to secure the hair.

The Luxe Ponytail

If you are looking for a style that is sleek and contemporary, why not go for a luxe ponytail that requires minimal effort but still manages to look elegant and sophisticated if styled in the correct way.
Depending on what kind of ponytail you suit, you can place it low, high, to the side, or in the middle of the head. Using a brush, and a touch of Moroccan oil, smooth the hair back and pull it tightly to emphasise your facial features and bone structure. Add a dazzling pair of earrings to ensure that the look isn’t too severe.
Volumised Waves

Perhaps you are always on the last minute when getting ready? Volumised waves are always a good option when it comes to attending a Holiday Party as they can be created in a hurry and always look fabulous, whatever outfit you choose to wear. This look can be created by using heated rollers which you can leave in before you go out or alternatively you can twist your hair with straighteners to create glossy and volumised waves.
