New Year's is a few weeks away but I've already started to plan what I'm going to wear. It's been a tradition of mine to always wear a sparkling sequin dress to ring in the New Year. It's probably the most cliché option but I can't image wearing anything else for this special occasion. There is something about sequins that makes me imagine a new year full of glamour and happiness. I love pairing my sequin dresses with either heels or boots depending on the cut of the dress. These are all gorgeous dresses! You have great taste! However, some of them have thick 3D sparkles which totally cover the waistline, making the silhouette straight. This is OK if you have proportionally narrow hips, but if you have proportionally wide hips (think Jennifer Love Hewitt), even if you are a size 4 like me (and I guess Ms. Hewitt, too), not showing the waistline will make the torso look wider.
