FEED's Exclusive "How to Gift²" Holiday Party Hosted by Lauren Bush Lauren

FEED's How to Gift Squared Holiday Party had everything you could possibly dream of like a lavishly decorated venue, celebrities, delicious food and drinks and of course a phenomenally good cause! 

FEED was started in 2006 by model and activist Lauren Bush Lauren with a simple mission of creating good products that help FEED the world. They do this through the sale of FEED bags, bears, t-shirts, and other accessories by building a set donation into the cost of each product. To date, FEED has been able to raise enough money through the sale of products to provide over 60 million school meals to children around the world.

Lauren Bush Lauren was the lovely host of the evening. We chatted for a bit and I told her how much I admired her work for FEED. 

Lauren spoke about FEED's "How to Gift²" Holiday Campaign which included the FEED gifts on display in curated selections like “How To Wrap It Feed Style”. 

Karlie Kloss

Another highlight of the evening was a cookie baking session with Karlie Kloss, Model and Founder of Karlie's Kookies as well as Christina Tosi, Chef and Founder of Milk Bar. 

Karlie is best known for gracing the covers of the top fashion magazines but during the event she was literally hands on in demonstrating her baking talents! She masterfully showed off her skills in the kitchen by whipping out healthy batches of her famous Karlie’s Kookies. A portion of her Kookie sales are donated to FEED. 

In addition to Karlie’s Kookie’s there was also a candle lit table full of delicious hors d'oeuvres. My favorites included deviled eggs and of course the assortment of cheese! 

VEEV, the world’s first Acai Spirit was the drink sponsor of the event. VEEV also donates 1% of all sales to rain-forest preservation.

The perfect ending to my evening was meeting Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter John Legend who came by to show his support. He was there with his beautiful fiancé, model Chrissy Teigen.
