Yoana Baraschi Spring/Summer 2013 Preview

I stopped by Yoana Baraschi's showroom to preview her latest collection for Spring/Summer 2013. Yoana is one of my favorite designers and each season she delivers such exquisite looks. I couldn't find a more appropriate outfit to wear then my Yoana Baraschi print high-low dress which I was lucky to receive courtesy of her team. 

For Spring 2013 Yoana masterfully shows her strength in embroidery and print design. There is a delicious assortment of bright colors, lace, exotic animal and floral prints, ombre design as well as dainty tweed. 

I loved everything from her Spring 2013 collection but there were three looks in particular that really grabbed my attention. 

My first favorite look was the above yellow animal print dress with cinched waist. It's such a beautiful stand out piece for Spring. I recommend wearing bright red lipstick as well as blue accessories like a ring and heels to make this dress stand out even more.  

My second favorite was the above blue embroidered dress. This look is equivalent to wearable art which Yoana is so brilliant at making. If you look closely you can see how the embroidery forms an intricate puzzle. It's almost as if this dress is telling a story. I imagine it's about a powerful, exotic woman with a hint of mystery to her. I recommend wearing simple accessories like black heels as this dress is already such a strong statement piece.

My third favorite look was the above pink structured dress. I love the way it's cut and of course the pockets! I recommend pairing it with either statement emerald earrings or necklace. I would personally choose the statement emerald necklace as the plunging neckline gives you the perfect opportunity to show it off!
