R. Couri Hay Holiday Party Featuring Artist Steven Colucci's "Sounds of Color" Art Exhibition & Scarf Collection Debut

I had the privilege of attending a private Holiday party by R. Couri Hay at the famous National Arts Club in New York. The soiree featured a special "Sounds of Color" exhibition by renowned artist Steven Colucci as well as a debut of his beautiful new scarf collection. In addition Andy Warhol drawings were on display to compliment the exhibition. Steven Colucci also used the evening as an opportunity to raise money and awareness for The American Cancer Society as well as the Quogue Wildlife Refuge. This was my last Holiday party of the season and perhaps one of the most extraordinary events that I've been to so far...

The National Arts Club which is located in the historic Tilden Mansion was the perfect venue for this special Holiday party. Originally built in the 1840's the mansion was filled with breathtaking decor which included ancient sculptures, vases, crystal chandeliers and of course paintings.

I met so many interesting people at the event from designers to artists and even a few Hollywood movie producers! It was quite a glamorous crowd which also included an appearance from Ramona Singer and her husband Mario from the hit reality show "The Real Housewives of New York City."

It was such a pleasure to walk around and see Steven Colucci's masterful paintings. He breathes so much life and movement into his work. The above painting in particular reminded me of the Arden B. holiday dress that I was wearing that evening. My lovely sister had given it to me for my Birthday a month before with the intention of me wearing it to my next glamorous event.

I also had a chance to try on Steven Colucci's beautiful scarves which were inspired by his art. Each one looked like a brilliant piece of wearable art.

"Everybody must have a fantasy" was one of my favorite quotes and drawings by Andy Warhol. I thought it was the perfect quote to describe the evening as the whole event felt like a real life fantasy.

Shea, "The Prince of Christmas" performed a selection of holiday music that set the perfect tone for the Holiday party.

Thank you so much R. Couri Hay co. for the invitation!
