They showed me a sneak peak of their newest collection which included futuristic digital art by an artist named Elena Vizerskaya.
According to the company, “In our world the beauty of art is inspiring and takes you many places around the world without every stepping foot on the ground. We understand the modern world and created a balance between high end materials and digital artistry. Our outstanding ideas of color bring you to the future with us. The vision is clearly cut and the designs are passionately brought to life.”
All of the bold, bright colored pieces were so interesting but I really fell in love with their silk dress. Through the expression of art it told such a vibrant story of a picturesque spring day. Starting from the sheer blue on top the picture goes on to a model wearing a blue dress and hat of the same shade. She’s leisurely laying on a piece of fruit and admiring the sky above. There is a blue belt that perhaps signifies a little stream before the dress continues on to a green field.
I knew the dress would be a perfect addition to my New York Fashion Week wardrobe. You can imagine my excitement when I was told I could borrow it! I’ll have more about my experience wearing the dress in a future post.
Edward Roth is produced in the U.S. but the materials and all the little details are taken from Europe. They use 100% silk, chiffon and leather which is all imported from Italy.
I’m so excited to see the rest of their
collection which is currently in production. You can visit their website or Facebook page
to keep up with all the details in Edward Roth’s fascinating world of
futuristic art meets fashion.
