RAFAEL CENNAMO's Opulent Vacation Inspired Resort 2014 Preview

Visiting the Rafael Cennamo showroom was everything I imagined it would be and more. A sea of couture gowns for Resort 2014 collection hung delicately in his beautifully decorated showroom. Taking a closer look I was mesmerized by the amount of detail that went into each piece. Rafael meticulously applied every precious stone, sequin and jewel like an artist would paint a picture with each stroke of a brush.

Rafael’s inspiration for Resort 2014 was based around a luxury vacation; think coral, beaches, sand and water. It’s all about the magical escape into a luxurious abyss. The statement colors for Resort 2014 were coral and vibrant fuchsia.

One of my favorite gowns was the above beautiful goddess like piece. 
The draping was constructed in a way that would perfectly envelop a women’s body and bring out her best assets. I loved the transitioning shades of color which created the popular ombre effect.
