I was invited by my lovely friend/PR Guru Jordana Hazan from Untapped PR to attend Jenna Burke's launch party for her new blog The Over-Analyst which covers fashion/lifestyle on a savvy budget. Jenna is fresh off ABC’s hit show The Bachelor.
The party took place at the Sanctuary Hotel in New York City. I’ve never been to the Sanctuary Hotel before and let me tell you it certainly lives up to its name. The stylish & intimate Sanctuary Hotel is a true refuge within NYC, offering personalized service and European-inspired hospitality curated by native New Yorkers.
Guests at the launch party were also treated to specialty cocktails & scrumptious appetizers.
I chatted with Jenna about her time on The Bachelor, her new blog The Over-Analyst and her lovely style choice for the evening!

Accompanying Jenna Burke at this fabulous event were her "The Bachelor", "The Bachelorette" & "Bachelor Pad" friends: Rachel Truehart, Jaclyn Swartz & Ames Brown as well as VIPs which included singer/songwriter Dan Reardon whom I had the pleasure of chatting with. If you're in LA this week I recommend checking out his live performance at the House of Blues (Voodoo Lounge).

Jenna was so much fun to chat with. We talked about her time on The Bachelor and her fabulous new blog The Over-Analyst.
What was your favorite part about being on the show?
I’ve done many interviews tonight and I’ve said that my time was short lived because I was in-between a career and in-between relationships. Anyone that appears bad on The Bachelor they tend to disappear after the show but with me it’s a different circumstance because I look back at the show and praise them because they kind of helped me to find who I was and re-establish who I was. I have a lot of love for them and they all know that.
What are the next steps for you post show?
I’m going to keep doing me and not trying to be a reality show person. I want to keep doing what I love to do. During the show blogging was more of a hobby but it made me realize that’s really now or never. I launched my new blog (The Over-Analyst) and it’s based upon luxe for less. A lot of my friends and people that I know are trying to live this life that’s not really possible. They have this job that doesn't pay them well and they want to live this luxurious life and run in the socialite crowd but it doesn't match up. There are ways to work around it. You don’t need to buy the best designer clothing. If you do you can pair it with something cheap like Forever 21.
I love your dress! Who are you wearing tonight?
My dress is by Leila Shams. She’s amazing! I’m also wearing Paris Hilton shoes. They actually broke and I spent more than I did to buy them to fix them because I love them that much!
