Ivanka Trump Shop For a Cause Boutique Soiree

The Shop for a Cause soiree was held at the Ivanka Trump boutique in Soho to benefit the Orthopaedic Foundation's 2014 "Dr. for a Day" Program.

The Dr. for a Day program gives students the experience of being a doctor for the day, working alongside top orthopaedic surgeons.

Chaired by Karen Kollitides, the shopping party had a wide array of exquisite Ivanka Trump jewelry, handbags, and shoes to choose from.

Ivanka personally curated some of her favorite pieces and offered 20% to support the cause.

World renowned wine connoisseur, Jim Clendenen, from Au Bon Climat chose his Santa Barbara County Chardonnay and La Badge Au-dessus Pinot Noir to accompany a sampling of Mediterranean Hors D’oeuvres.  

I wore one of my favorite pink Eliza J dresses, a golden Natori cuff and Rachel Roy heels for the party.  

It was my first time visiting Ivanka's boutique on Mercer Street in Soho. The outside of it looked just as glamorous as the inside.

My good friend Michelle Grundman came with me. Years ago when we were both high school students at the Frisch school we used to talk about having these fashion moments. It's always so special to now have a chance to have them with her and remember how far both of us have come in fashion. I can't wait to see what we'll accomplish next. We were both never keen on settling for anything less than extraordinary! ;) 

I also had a chance to see my lovely friend Rolise Rachel from Social Life Magazine at the party. Thanks again for letting me know about Shop for a Cause! 

Jessica D'Andraia, Director of Development of the Orthopaedic Foundation came over to say hello. Jessica and I have been emailing back and forth about the event so it was nice to finally meet in person.

In between mingling I took a walk around to see the new Ivanka Trump jewelry collection. I'm personally such a huge fan of Ivanka and everything that she does. 

For her namesake collection, Ivanka combined her innate understanding of modern luxury with a vision of heirloom-chic jewelry that fits perfectly into the lives of today's intelligent, self-assured women and truly inspires elegance in a new generation. 

In addition to jewelry, Ivanka also had a fabulous selection of footwear and handbags. Both lines consist of contemporary pieces and are inspired by her timeless, glamorous aesthetic. 

I didn't have a chance to meet Ivanka at the event but I'm hoping our paths cross soon in the future. It would be such a dream come true to finally meet her as she's definitely one of my role models.
