I went with a royal theme for day 4 of New York Fashion Week, wearing another cool CHUCHU NY fascinator, Kevin V. Thai sheer strip top and flared royal lace skirt.
I finished the look with a Natori golden cuff and my favorite spiked boots. The look was very 1940’s meets Asian fusion royalty. I like to mix things up! ;)
Everything went together very well, but I seriously miss my long blonde ombre hair. Out of all the hairstyles I've tried over the years this was by far my favorite. Unfortunately, I had to cut it all off as it became too damaged and my last stylist couldn’t fix it. I'm really looking forward to growing out my hair in the coming months and hopefully going back to a similar hairstyle!
I had the pleasure of seeing Leanne Marshall’s Fall/Winter 2015 fashion show. The above were just a few of my favorite looks. For this new collection Leanne was greatly influenced by director Francois Truffaut’s 1975 tragic film, The Story of Adele H. (L’Historie d’Adele H). With its basis in the memoirs of Adele Hugo, the daughter of author Victor Hugo, the film follows a young woman across the globe as she pursues the love of a man who does not return her affection. With his continued rejection, her love turns to an obsession that slowly drives her insane. The collection was a fascinating evolution of her journey to find an unrequited love.
