Designer Holiday Collections Sneak Preview: JS Collections, Carmen Marc Valvo, Cynthia Rowley and ML Monique Lhuillier

During my visit to the JS Group showroom I also had a chance to get a sneak preview of the new Holiday collections from Carmen Marc Valvo, Cynthia Rowley and ML Monique Lhuillier. The Holidays may be a while away, but it's never to early to get excited about great style coming up for the season!

Each collection delivered a great selection of chic Holiday looks. I loved all of them, but if I had to choose I would definitely go with either a red dress from Carmen Marc Valvo or the stunning black and blue feather dress by Cynthia Rowley.

Check out the rest of the photos from the preview below!

THEIA Resort 2016: Inspired by Bauhaus Textile Artist Anni Albers

I always enjoy visiting the THEIA showroom, but it’s an extra special treat when it’s to see a sneak peek of designer Don O'Neill’s brilliant new collection!

The new THEIA Resort 2016 collection was inspired by the work of the extraordinary Bauhaus Textile artist Anni Albers.

Her simple and clean use of lines to create textiles and wall hangings, informed a minimal approach to the collection. Don began with navy blue ribbon embroidered tulle, woven thru with linear micro sequins, which is used throughout the collection.

The vibrational aspect of color she used in vivid stripes inspired nautical dresses and her graphic black and whites resonate in a mosaic-tiled embroidery, while white details accentuate clean lines on Black dresses.

A rose is interpreted as an illustration created using a series of straight “sketched” lines. A Floral print is rendered linear by printing on a striped silk gazar.

Metallic golds reflect her awe inspiring innovative metallic wall hangings, interpreted for the THEIA woman in metallic jacquards and silver glass beads hand embroidered on silk chiffon gowns.

COACH Pups Campaign Launches With Lady Gaga’s French Bulldog Miss Asia Kinney

Coach just shared with me its new advertising campaign titled “COACH PUPS”. How cute?!

The new campaign features canine stars in a series of portraits photographed by Steven Meisel. It launches this month with Miss Asia Kinney, the adorable four-legged companion of Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga commented: “I am so proud of Miss Asia! She's a natural in front of the camera, and we're both so excited that the iconic Steven Meisel shot her for Coach's pup campaign! I really love getting to watch my best friend be a star.”

The campaign celebrates the dogs in our lives and captures the pups’ unique personalities as they “model” Coach’s Fall 2015 star bags.

Additional PUPS staring in the campaign will be revealed shortly. Miss Asia Kinney, Lady Gaga’s now famous French Bulldog has amassed a substantial social media following in only a few short weeks. The Coach bags she elegantly models in the campaign are the Edie and the Rucksack.

Art directed by Fabien Baron and styled by Karl Templer, COACH PUPS will appear in print, online and on outdoor media globally starting in July.

This new initiative will introduce the social campaign #coachpups, including a range of online activities for fellow dog fanciers, opportunities for Instameets, special talks and other events hosted by the great and the good of the canine world. This will also mark the debut of the Coach Snapchat account.

Coach has also made a donation to Chicago French Bulldog Rescue (frenchieporvous.org) on behalf of Miss Asia Kinney and her devoted owner.

I look forward to seeing the full Coach Fall 2015 collection with the rest of its predictably adorable furry stars!
