Working with Joe Zee Was a Dream Come True!

Recently I’ve had the most incredible opportunity of filming a project with Joe Zee the creative director of Elle Magazine. I can’t reveal the details of what we filmed just yet but I can write about what an amazing experience it was to meet him. I’ve been a huge fan of Mr. Joe Zee ever since my days at the Fashion Institute of Technology. As you know and for those that don’t Joe Zee is a graduate of FIT class of 92’.

Meeting him was a complete dream come true to say the least. I was completely nervous to meet and work with such an icon in the fashion industry so I’m honestly hoping they cut out any scenes that I might look completely mortified in!

For those few moments before filming I made a point to tell him how much I admired him and his work in fashion and how I was also a graduate of FIT.

I can truly relate to his early life coming from a different country and trying to make a name for yourself in fashion. FIT had given us the key to open the necessary doors to make it in this industry and now to be briefly working with him was a feeling that I will never forget.

Every time I’m recognized for my work in fashion and given amazing opportunities like this I always say if this was the last time that I get to do something like this it would still be worth it.
