Kicking off another great season at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week the Academy of Art University debuted its Spring/Summer 2012 collections from the school’s top graduating designers. The show opened with beige and mauve pieces with beautifully executed structures and shapes. The combination of fabrics and materials that you wouldn’t normally see together were meshed perfectly like the satin flowing dress with a leather cropped jacket. Each of the designer’s displayed a cohesive and well executed collection that could only be paralleled by a pro.
