I attended the Elin Kling for Marciano capsule collection launch party at Home Studio Inc. in New York City. The ultra glamorous event included famous guests like Olivia Palermo, Amy Astley, Katie Cassidy, Katrina Bowden and more. 

Elin Kling, a well known Swedish fashion blogger created a fabulous limited edition women’s capsule collection for Marciano. The collection was inspired by the style of matadors and classic Spanish femininity. It was a perfect combination of Elin's style and Marciano's aesthetic.

One of the first people that I had a chance to meet at the event was the lovely Katie Cassidy. I loved watching Katie on Gossip Girl and now to have a chance to chat with her was just so amazing and surreal! We talked about her new show Arrow which premiered on the CW that same night. 

Delicious treats like macaroons and rock candy were offered on a table set with white roses and candles. Guests also enjoyed hors d'oeuvres, wine and fruity drinks as DJ Brendan Fallis set the 

mood for a fun evening.

One of my favorite looks was the Elin Kling for Marciano Selma Bustier Top with Selma Sweater Skirt. It's such a classic yet sexy outfit.

I also loved the Elin Kling for Marciano Karla Maxi Dress. Elin put a modern spin on the classic LBD by adding sheer materials on each side as well as by the plunging neckline. I love that it shows just enough skin to get attention yet it covers enough to still give you a sophisticated look. 

Another one of my favorite looks was this Elin Kling for Marciano Jonna Cropped Sweater with Masha Leather Skirt. It's such a huge trend to show the upper portion of your midriff. I was excited to see that Elin's collection offered so many options to mix and match these types of midriff bearing pieces.
