Social Life Magazine Beauty and Health Soiree

Wearing: Taylor Dress, Emma Logue snakeskin belt and Jessica Simpson heels

Social Life Magazine’s Event Director Rolise Rachel and Publisher Justin Mitchell held a Beauty and Health event at the glamorous Social Life Residence in New York.

The evening was presented by the Art of Dermatology and hosted by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Julie Henderson.

Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres by Elegant Affairs and cocktails by Altaneve Prosecco. Socialites, tastemakers and trendsetters had a chance to preview Mina D. Jewelry, Au Naturale, Mynt Smile, Skinney Medspa, Aquaffinity, By Chez Lingenrie, Love Grace Organic, Green 2o Water and Developing Faces.

Pedicure.com was also on hand to pamper guests with fresh Spring manicures.

I was delighted to see Amanda Mason, the stunning Miss New York. I met Amanda a few months back at the WGIRLS Bachelorette auction where Amanda and I as well as NYC’s other most eligible bachelor and bachelorettes were auctioned off for charity. Amanda memorably sang opera at that event. We chatted a bit about her talents. I was surprised to learn that Amanda is also a Martial Arts expert with over 5 years of training under her belt. Beauty, brains, singing chops and (literally) a kick-ass personality definitely make Amanda a perfect Miss New York.

I couldn’t resist noshing on yummy passed hors d'oeuvres by Elegant Affairs each chance I got. Elegant Affairs is a New York celebrity caterer and event planner serving Manhattan, Long Island, the Hampton’s, Connecticut, Westchester, and New Jersey. Whether you are planning an intimate North Fork vineyard wedding, a lavish Long Island mansion wedding, or a Hampton’s beach party, Elegant Affairs is the New York Caterer you want to collaborate with.

I came over to my friend Rolise Rachel from Social Life Magazine to quickly thank her for extending the invitation to me. Rolise was wearing a fabulous black and white dress by Taylor Dress(Bravo on another perfectly executed event!)

Next, I ran into Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Julie Henderson, the host of the event. Julie was super friendly and was even more beautiful in real life.

I was so happy to see Jewelry Designer Mina Deutsch again. I had a chance to formally meet Mina at ELEQT’s Fall into Spring event a few weeks ago.

Mina presented her new Mina D. Jewelry collection for attending guests. Can you say perfect accessory options for the Hamptons this Summer?!

My designer friend Vito Emanuele was also in attendance with one of his lovely new assistants, Vanessa. Vanessa was of course dressed in a brilliant couture cocktail dress from Vito’s namesake collection. It’s always a pleasure to see Vito. He’s one of those rare, old Hollywood couture designers with a charming and glamorous personality to match.

Next, I saw my favorite European power sisters, Gabrielle and Lidiya Oros. In addition to running Oros Team Real Estate, the girls are also involved in creating luxury events through their company, The SYNERGY Events.

I was happy to see my new PR friend, Amelia Meloni who was representing Mina D. Jewelry at the event. It was such a pleasure to catch up with Amelia. Amelia is the go to PR specialist for leading entrepreneur clients in various spectrums of business. Her namesake PR company specializes in luxury lifestyle, entertainment and fashion public relations

I was thrilled to see the lovely Cassandra Seidenfeld who came with her friend. Cassandra is quite the fascinating personality, aside from being an accomplished actress; she’s also involved in an endless list of charitable organizations from the Hamptons to New York City.

One of my favorite people to see was Jean Shafiroff. It’s always so exciting to watch what Jean wears to events and the way she pairs such glamorous outfits with grace and ease. (I’m not so secretly hoping she starts her own blog to document her style.)  She’s definitely become an inspiration to my own personal style.

My friend Dara Avenius was the first person to greet me and towards the end gave me the nicest surprise. Dara is the CEO of her own company called Fascinate Media and was involved in this event. Fascinate Media works to guide each client and develop an individualized plan to support their vision.

The surprise was the event gift bag which included goodies from sponsors. Dara kindly saved me one when she saw that I didn’t have one and none were left, except for that one. That was truly the highlight of my evening. Never underestimate the power of kindness; it’s what always makes life beautiful and memorable.

Thank you so much again Dara for saving me the only gift bag left. I’ll never forget this kind gesture! :)
