X'Tige Holiday Party at Trump Soho

A holiday party at Trump Soho... Yes, please! I was thrilled when my good friend Eleonora Quizmolli invited me to her holiday party for luxury designer showroom X’Tige at Trump Soho. I’ve known Eleonora for a few years now and every time she throws a party it’s always the talk of the town.

Eleonora runs Sensation of House, a full-service production and management company in addition to being an affiliate for X’Tige showroom.

Holiday parties are my absolute favorite events as they're the perfect opportunity to indulge in sparkly dresses and red lipstick, and of course I couldn't resist both for this occasion!

Within seconds of walking into the party room at Trump Soho my ever so poised and glamorous friend Eleonora came over to greet me. Eleonora was the essence of holiday chic with her sequin black pants and studded belt which she paired with a white t-shirt and blazer.

Before I could even ask Eleonora led me towards the bar and asked the bartender for a glass of champagne for me. They say the greatest friends in life are the ones who know your favorite drink... Just kidding, there is no such quote but it seems so true! ;)

Next, Eleonora introduced me to the lovely Ms. Angela Simmons. Angela was wearing a stunning faux fur vest which she designed herself. How gorgeous is it?! I seriously want one to throw over a pair of leggings right now!

Angela comes from a big fashion family but she's a fashion mogul in her own right. She currently runs an online boutique called The Fashion Yard which provides a platform for new talent in the fashion industries, as well as beauty, health & wellness, fitness and empowerment. The brand started with Angela’s personal lifestyle blog AngelaIAM.com; dedicated to fashion, music and beauty.

Eleonora also introduced me to a lovely shoe designer named Saya. Her brand is called Sand by Saya and is inspired by the unique flavour of New York City. Saya's awesome designs have been featured in Vogue, Elle, In Touch and many more top publications. They’re currently sold in upscale stores like Barney’s NY, Ron Herman and Galleries Lafayette.

My best friend Robin and our mutual friend Alex Cook were also at the party. It was so nice to spend time with them as I don't see both nearly as much as I would like. How fabulous are these two?!

After a bit more mingling I walked around the room to see some of the cool designer clothing and accessories from the X-Tige showroom. The first was MUA MUA, which had their awesome Coco dress on display in addition to their famous fashion dolls.

The other featured brand was Big Park with their attention grabbing print clothing. Created by Korean designer Park Youn Soo, Big Park is an adventurous upscale lifestyle brand that caters to the international crowd.

After seeing the collections I was introduced to a lovely Dubai born model and singer named Nasra Corbel. We chatted about her new music which Nasra described as “sensual”.

Before I left I had to meet one of the best dressed people at the event. This girl was wearing the most stunning velvet gown. Naturally I gravitate towards good fashion so I had to meet her! Her name is Yuko Nakao and she has quite an impressive repertoire of being a stylist, visual merchandiser and contributor for ESTHÉTIQUE magazine.

My friend Hiromi also had a great time meeting Yuko as both are from Japanese heritage. Side note: I seriously want to learn Japanese this year!

Thank you so much Eleonora for a brilliant time as always. Can't wait to see you again soon during New York Fashion Week! :)
